It's a perfectly nice adult contemporary song, but not my favorite. This friend owns two Joni albums, which gave me hope. Unfortunately, it turns out that they were hand-me-downs and nobody wanted to buy them during her record purge. She expressed openness to listening a few times to let them grow on her, so I let her know she was very lucky. The albums are STAS and HOSL, both brilliant and underrated. "I had all of my Joni vinyl for purchase at a recent yard sale ... STAS, Clouds, LOTC, Blue, FTR, MOA, HOSL, Hejira, DJRD, Mingus, S&L, DED (an old girlfriend long ago absconded with WTRF) ... $1 a disc ... no takers.
