FLAC to MP3 LAME 3.98.2 using libsndfile 1.0.18pre22a parameters: --replaygain-accurate --strictly-enforce-ISO -b256 -q2 -h -V 0 --vbr-new Two things stand out here. 1. Someone took a LossLess 16 bit /44k CD Quality FLAC recording and degraded it by converting it to MP3 2. The also claim it's "Pre-FM" when it's clearly a recording from an FM broadcast, w/Station ID's within the program. - - - - - - "Pre-FM" means a 1-to-1 copy *directly* from the Radio Station recording. ie: NO Compression Many stations use extreme audio compression to keep the sound above the background noise for "distant" listeners, at the expense of degrading the sound quality. - - - - - THIS version of the Wells Fargo concert is SAME version available to JMDL members back in 1998. It was included on TapeTree #6. It's an Air-Check (Off-Air) recording from a broadcast by KCSA, FM-101.9, Glendale, CA. - - - - - - Stay Tuned!
