It may have slang connotations of "twee" or "gay" but my dictionary says: Adjective; "giving an impression of vague unworldliness" which seems perfectly apt for what Joni might have felt so far out of her element in Furry's home. I don't know if a double entendre with "ofey" was meant but it is clever to think so.
