She's fascinated with language and black culture. She "picks the colored language off the farms and the streets" (possibly also a double entendre). "They've got all the latest words...." And she and Chuck lived in a black Detroit neighborhood around 1966. Weren't racial tensions high? Is it possible nobody called her that? Now, can anyone explain why the words to For Free were changed? "A black limousine and two white men."
