As for her reference to being single, the catch there was her lead up to it ... "loud and proud," etc. People half-expected her to announce she's a lesbian. Instead, she announced, after a bit of a teasing intro, that she's single. I don't mind at all that Jodie spoke as she did, which was from her heart. Her body of work was somewhat well-reflected in the video that preceded Downey's introduction. I was a bit surprised at the "duh" look on Mel Gibson's face, though ... somehow it struck me that everything Jodie was saying was news to him. (I think he's a twat, though. Apparently Foster and Gibson are good friends ... Jodie must know something special about Mel that I can't quite see.) I started to write this at the library and was kicked off the internet when the place was about to close, and so lost some of what I was saying and now, darn it, I can't remember what else I wanted to say!
