Joni's a Luddite, and I love it! Yeah, it would be great, in a way, if Joni really had a Facebook page, but it would also be very weird. All that technology takes away from the business of living in the moment. It also takes away from the time to make art. I think she has made her feelings on cell phones known. I understand where she's coming from. It drives me nuts seeing people zombie-walking towards me as they text, oblivious to their surroundings, or being surrounded by people who just HAVE to check their email on the elevator. How much of what any of us does is so important that it can't wait at least a few minutes?
