It sounds like you've had a blast working with them, but seven years is a good gig. Best of luck and best wishes for your next thang, and good luck with the diet. I'm back on track (I think) for losing some more weight (except for the delicious croissant I had at breakfast.) >________________________________ > From: Michael Paz >To: JMDL LIST >Sent: Sunday, January 6, 2013 10:41:00 AM >Subject: Happy New Year! I just figure they're meant to be a path towards looking inward, more than anything else, something to help us concentrate on whatever we figure we're looking for anyway. To be honest, I've never had a clue what the I Ching is about, but I have looked at Tarot and astrology. I never take this stuff very seriously, but I figure it's kind of like how sometimes you're bothered by something and don't really know what to do about it until you talk to someone about it, or write it down, and suddenly you're answering your own questions and everything seems much clearer. I also think we'll look foolish, maybe next week! >________________________________ > From: Victor Johnson >To: "IVPAUL42@aol.com" >Cc: "joni@smoe.org" >Sent: Monday, December 10, 2012 2:52:18 PM >Subject: Re: onlyJMDL Digest V2012 #417 > >One could easily say the same about writings from today, point being there >is certainly always more to learn, and much that will make "us" seem >foolish 1000 years from now. > > > > >On Monday, December 10, 2012, wrote: >> >> Sometimes the writings of a 1,000 years ago are wise, but sometimes they >> are foolish and narrow-minded. >> Would you take to heart advice based on a time when people believed the sun >> orbited around a flat Earth? >> Perhaps, but with more than a grain of salt. >> >> Paul ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2013 #28 **************************** ------- To post messages to the list, sendtojoni@smoe.org.
