I love the fact that it is on the roster up there with Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Blue Christmas, I'll Be Home For Christmas, and all those other poignant to sad to outright weepy Christmas songs. At our New Year's Party I had a debate with my sister and daughter when the subject of Cee Lo's cover came up, and they TOTALLY disagreed with me that River should be a Christmas song. My mother, as usual, was on my side because she LOVES JT and thought it was his song until I set her straight! :-) They could have just said that to rile me up, but I thought I would toss this out there for discussion.
