The photo on the website is dated 1968 and Blue wasn't released until 1971. Why would a 3 year old photo have been used? Did Considine develop the photo or tint his original photo or whatever process has to be done to make it blue? Or did that happen later? I could see using the photo if the image had originally been printed with the blue coloring. It is a beautiful shot and it is perfect for the album cover it graces. But if it was re-processed with the blue tint for the purpose of using it on the 'Blue' jacket, why wouldn't they have used a newer photo? The website says it is 'an association of Wordsmiths, Artists and Photographers who have come together at this site to offer the products of their craft'. Other than that, and the names of the artists it lists, is there any other way of knowing who created the site? I was able to copy the page onto a Word doc and increase the size. I played with the brightness because I thought I could see some sign of a smudge where the mic is on the album cover but I sure don't see it when I monkey around with it.
