Coyote [Catherine McKay Subject: Re: Stones "Waiting on a friend" guitar Vs. Coyote I don't think anyone was lifting from anyone else either, but I did find one very bitchy website that accused Joni of stealing from the Stones. I think the site has been posted here before. The writer has some very nasty, often offensive and sometimes pretty darn funny reviews of albums, including those of Joni Mitchell. If you're interested, here it is (you will need to scroll down from the top - it's not really a blank page) but, be warned - some of you will be offended: http://www.markprindle.com/mitchell.htm P.S. Didn't know Jagger played either - it interferes with the strut. >________________________________ > From: Marian Russell >To: joni@smoe.org >Sent: Wednesday, June 20, 2012 8:46:00 AM >Subject: Re: Stones "Waiting on a friend" guitar Vs. I think the guitar in that >version is very different from the electrified Hejira version. ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2012 #870 ***************************** ------- To post messages to the list, sendtojoni@smoe.org.
