I recently listened to an interview with Sissy Spacek on NPR about her new autobiography, "My Extraordinary, Ordinary Life". She stated that Loretta Lynn chose her to portray her in the movie, "Coal Miner's Daughter". Wouldn't it be wonderful if Joni made her own choice of actress?
