Even though the social climate dictated this or that, there are still to be had/lived/breathed some devastating effects and after effects. In recent weeks, I learned about this movement which was started in Australia and moved to BC Canada ... these women are trying to raise awareness of what it might have been like. It's pretty crazy making and there's no understanding it at all, no matter how much rationalising, no matter how much logical filter one tries to see this through.
