I know that most Joniphiles will be skeptical of Taylor's ability to pull off the role. But many have commented that she will bring in a new audience for Joni's work; no, Taylor did not invent an entirely new way of playing guitar, but she CAN play guitar, and will certainly be able to "fret-synch", or even learn to play in Joni's style. If Taylor is immersed in Joni's early career, I can't help but think it would be an extremely positive experience for her, which could produce benefits for the remainder of her life, which could be many many decades. Also: Taylor Swift was named after James Taylor; Ben Taylor (James' son) sounds (and could be made to look) just like James, IS an actor, and IS also the son of Carly Simon. ~Dan On Sat, May 5, 2012 at 10:24 PM, Mark wrote: > This was playing on several display model wide screen TVs in Costco today: > > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?**v=RzhAS_GnJIc > > > I've been skeptical and still am.
