It seems she was struggling with addiction for a long time. Like you, Moni, I didn't care for many of the songs she did, but she did have an amazing and powerful voice. I did enjoy some of the earlier stuff she released, like "How will I know", which was a bit of fluff, but fun, and she seemed to have so much energy and to be happy at that time. >________________________________ > From: Moni Kellermann >To: Jim L'Hommedieu >Cc: JMDL >Sent: Sunday, February 12, 2012 2:13:45 AM >Subject: Re: Whitney Houston Dies at 48, njc > >Am 12.02.2012 07:51, Wie Jim L'Hommedieu so vortrefflich formulierte: >> BBC radio and NBC television report that Whitney Houston died tonight in >> a hotel in LA. But I had wished all those years she was struggling with her addiction that she could turn it around and revive her career. Sad to know that despite all the support she had from her family and friends, she could not beat the demons. > > >moni k. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 12 Feb 2012 03:42:20 -0600 From: T Peckham Subject: Re: "7 Years Underground: A 60s Tale" Haven't had a chance to view yet, but thanks much for the link!
