He opened the show with his song "Land of Hope And Dreams".   Here is part of it:

At the end of the song, he quoted a different song, written by Curtis Mayfield in 1965, called "People Get Ready".

It was a magical moment when you think, "Wait.  Wait.  I know that song.  What is he quoting!?  It works perfectly because they are both talking about getting on a train of faith and positivity."

BTW, U2 covered "People Get Ready".
