I don't think there is a cure for this but I'm sharing it anyway.

Yesterday I programmed the DVR to record the 121212 Concert For Sandy Relief. Apparently a DVR "looks up" the start time and stop time in advance when you build the event.

That rarely works perfectly. Last night, it recorded until 12:30 AM and stopped. 

But shows like that always run late and it missed everything that happened after that, like the appearance of Paul McCartney.

On the bright side, I now have the appearances by Springsteen and Waters, in high-def.  The sound is decent too; it actually has some bass to it.
