Did we have so clear a road map to tie Leonard Cohen to "Rainy Night House" earlier? Lyrically, it all made sense but I was unaware of the actual visit to Leonard's family home. I think I'll do some research on those "golden factories" too. Incredible harmonies (for non-siblings!) and great finger-picking and very sweet people. Here they are doing Justin Bieber's 'Baby' - I know, I know Justin Bieber?@##$%@? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTxYfT5Jx3Q Their own songs are really strong melodically and lyrically. They are so clean cut that Michele said "I think they're Mormons"...but, later that night, there they were in Eric Schwartz's showcase enthusiastically singing along with the chorus of his "Who's Gonna Fuck the Singer?" *************************************************** Steve Dulson Costa Mesa CA FAR-West (Folk Alliance Region - West) tinkersown@ca.rr.com www.far-west.org ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2012 18:43:26 -0500 From: Michael Paz Subject: Re: Blackberry Smoke, njc LoL!
