Yes, I know that many think TI is a masterpiece, but it's not one of my favorites. And while many of the TI songs are obviously brilliant, there is something about the smoothness of the vocals in HIH that I freaking love. Also, while "Nothing Can Be Done" isn't a favorite of anyone that I know, I love it. I've said before that the older I get, the more this one hits home. I love her phrasing and the whole vocal. And you know what? I miss Klein. Now, if i were to read this the other way, and view the thread as the last song on the album, i gotta say that Joni's brilliant in sequencing her songs - although I think Blue should have ended the album, not just side one.
