I wonder why she did it? They did perform those songs on the tour. In any event, they fooled me - I thought they were live. Perhaps it was the lead-in on MOA, in which Joni introduced the two songs as bookends in the arena of relationships - one more optimistic than the other, or something like that. Gave it the impression of being truly live. Perhaps, I thought, it was from a different concert venue, which might account for some apparent differences in tone, etc...
