It means LISTENING and FEELING her work, not just hearing it. Is there such a thing as a "casual" Joni fan? I seriously doubt it. I thought they were little known outside the UK. There's great marketing for you, she said cynically. Mind you, I do have quite a soft spot for them and thought they were one of the better artists appearing at the Olympics Closing Ceremony which everyone over here seemed to think marvellous and I found pretty dire. As for you Bob, I am so very pleased that the benefits of being our Cover King outweigh the cost. I sometimes feel that being a Joni fan exacts a price in some ways. Her lack of connection to her fan base combined with a lack of output these days makes demands on one's dedication. However, that fact that you are unwavering feels like a rock in a wild sea - but I sometimes feel Joni doesn't deserve you!
