That would be called a Jazz Waltz usually. Pretty tune isn't it? > It's a very pretty and catchy tune. It's a shame she abandoned it on her first record for "Pirate" and "Nathan", neither of which measure up to it. Would have been great if she would have put out a whole other record of the best of those earlier songs in 1967/68. It was not unheard of then for artists to put out 2 albums in a year, and we may even be getting back to that. Green Day is planning 3 albums in a short period, and Neil Young/Crazy Horse has 1 out this year (a parody of itself if you ask me) and is planning another of original material soon. Then again, maybe I should be grateful that she didn't - had she done that I'd REALLY be up to my neck in covers!
