Two of the greatest icons in rock n roll get the power turned off! Some guy looks at his watch at 10.30pm in a large park, in a bustling, capital city when the clubs are just opening and people are only just going out, but doing his job regardless of who it is......well, I thought it was so typical of the world in which we live. The rules must be obeyed no matter who or what. Mind you, I saw Macca singing at the Queen's Jubilee and his ability to hit notes seemed a bit lacking. Maybe the plug puller was doing everyone a favour and it was, in fact, on the grounds of lack of musicality that the plug was pulled! :~)) Anita > ========== > > TOPICS and authors in this Digest: > -------- > Re: Springsteen and McCartney njc [Victor > ] > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2012 10:28:43 -0400 > From: Victor > Subject: Re: Springsteen and McCartney njc > > I agree...they had already gone over curfew so cutting them off midsong > wasn't going to change that.
