Ignore it and move on; 2. Get mad about and pitch a hissy fit; 3. Have a laugh about it, poking fun at yourself AND at the situation My approach in these kind of situations is typically ALWAYS #3 - just makes living life more fun. He's not nicknamed The Boss for nothing...he gets to do what he wants (in terms of his music, his band, his live shows, etc) and he has the resources to cover what may come up when he violates someone else's rules. Do you SERIOUSLY think he was bothered by those fines? Is there a bigger draw internationally (maybe U2?) Again, if you look at the true artistic powerhouses, they DON'T play by the rules. Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee, Elvis (Presley and Costello), Led Zeppelin, and yes, even Joni Mitchell who always followed her own muse and artistry as opposed to let the commercial world dictate what she had to do. Idiot comes to my mind. Had he forgotten last time in Dublin he was fined TWICE or is that his humour? You sign the contract and take the money = you do what it says. > Date: Wed, 18 Jul 2012 11:01:52 -0400 > From: Bob.Muller@Fluor.com > Subject: NJC Here's how cool the Boss is... > > Follow up to the Hyde Park story - leave it to Springsteen... > > http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/bruce-springsteen-pokes-fun-at-london-curfew-20120718 > > Bob > > NP: Sonic Youth, "Hey Joni" - ------------------------------------------------------------ The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain proprietary, business-confidential and/or privileged material.
