(NJC) Whas upppppp? Getting ready to hit the road again. Headed to Phoenix tomorrow, Santa Barbara, CA on Feb 1, Carmel-by-the-Sea on Feb 2 and Folsom, CA on Feb 3 and then home. Also headed to Lookout Mountain GA on the 16th, Chicago on the 17th and Stoughton, WI on the 18th. Look forward to seeing JMDL folk along the way. I am not one of the HUGE Boss fans that will follow him down a dark alley or wherever but will check him out at Jazz Fest if I can. We re reaching out to him to see if he will do something with us for the 5oth Jam. Our line up so far is stupid! Lots of crazy shit in the works as always. I will not be touring so much early this year so I have been fooling around in the studio and pulled up the Pazfest II tapes to listen to. Toying with the idea of doing something with all that. I also have a ton of video footage of the whole thing. This reminds me that Madam Ashara has not said anything about a Full Moon experience so I am toying with the idea of the annual PazFest celebration in New Orleans later this year (possibly Labor Day). This after much prodding from JMDL folk as well as the damn locals here. Libra announced that it was an annual event the other night when Roman Street played the OAH. Yikes! What am I saying.???? I think the JMDL might be tired of coming down to New Orleans. Maybe we should revive the Honduras JoniFest idea.... Discuss! I assume you're planning on catching him on tour? He'll open in Atlanta, and also has a couple of NC dates but I don't plan on seeing him this time around. Last tour he played right in Greenville which was sweet. I'm anxious to hear his new record - the song they've made available is typical Bruce but they say the album as a whole is a tad more experimental.
