I went into Sears for the first time in probably 10 years yesterday to buy some socks. Lands End stopped offering the ones I liked, so I thought I'd actually go and check out some rather than buying blind on line. First thing - there were NO sales assistants. If I wanted to ask someone if they had something in a different size - no one to ask. Second - when I went to check out, there were about 10 people in line at each check out location. I waited TWENTY MINUTES to pay for my socks. You wonder why people shop on line? You wonder why Sears is in trouble? Sheesh! *************************************************** Steve Dulson Costa Mesa CA FAR-West (Folk Alliance Region - West) tinkersown@ca.rr.com www.far-west.org ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2011 #810 ***************************** ------- To post messages to the list, send to joni@smoe.org.
