Sure, It's been a little annoying lately with a post, digest, post, digest, but I can adapt. I've been here since 1998 and don't plan on leaving, even though I rarely contribute these days. Like someone suggested, I would hate to have to log on to some website to see some bulletin board. I'm not that fond of yahoo groups, but it's worked as far as the Jonifests go. I wish I was more computer savy, but I'm not. I just like getting the individual emails JC or NJC. Maybe another fund raiser would help offset the $40/Month for another Majordomo. They put on a rockin' show...definitely one of the cooler bands from the eighties. I've never made a bunch of impulse buys on iTunes, yet. Though I suppose there's always a first time for everything. Part of me still loves having actual physical CD's that I can hold in my hand though I can never keep them organized and just last night, I was looking for Jack's CD (which I listen to often) and now can't find it since I didn't put it back in its place. I have a soft spot in my heart for The Fixx, which I won't get into here, but when i was 13-15, I loved me some Fixx, even though hell if i know what the hell ANY of their songs are about. I think it's safe to say that Joni would not be interested in setting this up herself, so it would all (cost and work) have to come from list members. Last night, I was trying to find a particular pattern online, and could not..so I went over to my folder to see if I had saved it to there. I had to laugh as I have several patterns saved twice and sometimes thrice...whenever I see something I like...I'll save it and anyway...I nkow this must sound a bit goofy but the long story short is that I hear you...Im always doing that with a variety of things in life, and all you can do is shake your head and have a good little chuckle at yourself. Your opera sounds like a very cool project, I hope it all comes to fruition for all involved, especially Sara. Kind of an emotional morning...my last weekend here in Beijing, had a farewell dinner last night with my crew from work, and when they look me in the eyes and tell me that they wish I didn't have to go it gets to me. Followed that with a great night at the Traders Hotel bar with our Filipino band friends. As it was my last Saturday night, Mary Ann kept inviting me up to sing, I must have done about 20 songs and had a blast. I requested "Don't You Forget About Me" and "Leaving On A Jet Plane" but they didn't know them. Shucks.
