ANYWAY.B I am torn on Tori. While I was really drawn to her when I first heard "Cornflake Girl", I have to say that she mostly annoys me now, simply because it's just too... crazy. Maybe that's the wrong word, but I actually listened to Under the Pink for the first time in years a few months ago while on a treadmill at the gym, and let me tell you, when you have nothing else to amuse you but really paying attention to what you are listening to, you realize what you like and what you don't.B And while I will always think CG is a catchy tune, that day, the whole album did nothing but annoy me.B "Peel out the watch-word"??B Give me a freaking break, honey.B It sounds good, but it's just too nutty.B I still defend the Cocteau Twins, and their nonsense lyrics, because half the time it's made up words and noises, but Tori?B Meh.B But as I said, maybe I am just getting old and cranky.
