In an Australian interview he said a tour is not likely, though he jokingly said he could set up in a theater somewhere and people could come to him. Also, I picked up some old school NOPHJB at a yard sale the other day, Preservation Hall Jazz Band: Volume 1 from the seventies. Ben's father is on it, playing tuba. We had a blast in Athens, seeing the band for Coltrane's 2nd birthday. The sound in the hall was stupendously good and the combination of the two bands was magical. Coltrane spent most of the night walking from one end of the back row to the other. The new CD, American Legacies...rocks by the way!
