Paul responded: I think not, Bob, but I think it would be fun to ask you JMDLers if you were the producer or writer for Glee and you had to pick four Joni songs for the cast to perform during a Glee show with only Joni music, which four songs would you choose for members of the Glee cast to perform? First, I agree with Paul that this is never going to happen. Joni's influence far surpasses her popularity, and most people have never heard 90% of her catalog. I even read a comment on the Jane Fonda blog that said it was too bad she quit making music and didn't release much after C&S. How sad...just over a dozen studio albums including a Pop Album of the Year. So anything done on Glee would probably be from 69-74. I'd like to hear something other than the usual suspects. Maybe In France They Kiss on Main Street, Night Ride Home, Black Crow, and Impossible Dreamer.
