Diane Reeves turns in an exceptional version, and Robert Downey Jr. surprised many with his heartfelt take on it in an Ally MacBeal episode. Then on the other side is Billy Squier (the "Stroke Me" dude)...his version starts off with "it's comin' on twilight, and goes downhill from there. I love the original River. Hated James Taylor's version (why "wide" instead of long?) And I thought Corrinne Bailey Rae's was too pretty. Lea Michelle has a great voice, but I'm not sure she can pull it off. Whatever production they do will surely ruin it, even if the performance is amazing.
