But I saw Judy last year at the Greenwich Village Folk evening at the London Barbican and she was really mesmerising. I'd love to see her again, actually. Same for Joan, I saw her live performance at Woodstock on film, of course, and was not too crazy about it (she seemed too pious and puritan to me then) but I heard her on some radio interviews in recent years and was quite drawn in by the warm way she spoke, so I would really love to catch her at a gig now with what I hope would be a warmer, more mature persona. Wonder if she had kept "Roberta" as her stage name, would "Roberta" evoke the same thoughts as "Joni" does? Probably so...what did Willy the Shake say about a rose by any other name? I would be hard pressed to pick 3 but those would definitely be in the running. I also love her Leonard Cohen interpretations. Especially 'Priests', 'A Thousand Kisses Deep' and 'Famous Blue Rain Coat'. Also very fond of 'Someday Soon', 'Since You've Asked' and 'First Boy I Loved'.
