Welcome to the JMDL!  It's not surprising to me that you would pair these songs.  I think you have a great ear!  Especially since Hunter/TFT (GGDGBD) are in the same tuning and so are DJRD/Coyote (CGDFCE)! And as Bob said, musically Boho Dance and FTR are different but the subject matter, emotional drive is much the same.  Cool.

Hi! I'm new here, and I can't wait to read about all the Joni
knowledge you have. Yesterday I was listening to Boho Dance on my way
out of the gym and when I hopped into my car, For the Roses was
playing. They're twins! It totally makes sense, but I would never have
put them together if they hadn't been synchronized like magic. Don
Juan's Reckless Daughter and Coyote are a more obvious pair. What
about The Hunter and This Flight Tonight? Is it just me, or did Joni
reuse/recycle her material a lot?

those of you are true fans, scrape up the yen and buy the new Cardboard
sleeve (mini LP) reissue from Japan featuring the high-fidelity SHM-CD
format. It is really a treat.

My band is up for a local music award this year... may I trouble you for 
a vote to help us out?  Just need a name and email address here: 
http://bit.ly/pjiI9M  and a vote for "Acme Bluegrass" in the... um... 
bluegrass category.  The inside joke is that there is another bluegrass 
band in town - and a member of that group works for the very 
organization that is giving the awards.  They always win (nepotism?  
ballot stuffing?  more talented than us?), so we are trying to shock 
them by toppling them off the throne.  Brothas and Sistas, can ya spare 
a vote?

And, by the way, many thanks to those who helped out during the recent 
fund drive initiated by Dave B.  Spurred on by the kindness, another 
complete site revision is in the works... if you have suggestions for 
improvements, let me know.
