(Harumph.) That's only one of several reasons why I don't use my office email for things like the Joni list. - ----- Original Message ---- > From: Mike Pritchard > To: joni@smoe.org > Sent: Mon, March 21, 2011 5:50:09 AM > Subject: annoyance NJC > > Any way we can get the opening (I'm out of the office) post removed? > Or get Ken or Keith or whatever his name is back in the office? > mike in bcn > np John McLaughlin - Homage ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 Mar 2011 09:57:42 -0400 From: Susan Tierney McNamara Subject: RE: 'paris night' NJC Hi Ingrid: I really enjoyed your song. It was very beautiful. Did you use an alternate tuning? Also I'm interested to know how you recorded it and made it an mp3. I'm trying to get set up to record like you did, and I'm not sure how to do it. Thanks for sharing. I love the guitar on that and am curious about the tuning as well. Likewise, although I have a Mac computer and I have garage band on it, I'm not really sure how to go about recording on it. It may be a simple case of turning on garage band and, in fact, I think that's it, but that's not necessarily a quality recording. I suppose it's still better than the crappy cassette tape recorder I had years ago! - ----- Original Message ---- > From: Susan Tierney McNamara > To: ingrid lochrenberg ; joni > Sent: Mon, March 21, 2011 9:57:42 AM > Subject: RE: 'paris night' NJC > > Hi Ingrid: > > I really enjoyed your song. But it's true. I went in today for a routine colonoscopy (everything was fine) and as they were wheeling me from the prep room to the procedure room, guess who come on the speakers? Darn right! I had to laugh because it was 'Help Me', probably not what you want to hear when you're heading in to a medical procedure. Anyway, it was a comfort. I took it as a sign that all would go well, which it did. Not being able to afford anything can feel rather embarrassing. You must be doing something wrong but you donbt know what. On the other hand if everything just makes you feel better and better about yourself then the truth may just as well lie within yourself....but nobody else should find that compelling. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Mar 2011 08:48:45 +0200 From: "ingrid lochrenberg" Subject: biting Since just after my twinsister left on saturday my skin has started crawling...it feels like a million spider bites....i have a new dog arriving today and am trying to sweep thoroughly in case there is something here that needs to be cleared away....bathing doesnbt help.....even with no soap. Something seems amiss...perhaps itbs this new skin disease. ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2011 #86 **************************** ------- To post messages to the list, send to joni@smoe.org.
