Now that the wave of turbulence here at work has waned (we had some layoffs last week and I was fortunate enough to make the cut), I've booked my flights for Pazfest 2010. My son and I are flying in Thursday mid-day and will be ready to rock and he will find out first-hand what this crazy crew is all about. And hey, the dates are not that far off - whoo-hoo, I'm officially excited! YAY!! I hope more people will consider signing up as we have plenty of room here in New Orleans and we could sure use the support as well as the company. The hotel has agreed to extend the date for people to book to the second week of August. I will be announcing the line up of New Orleans and National Musicians that have agreed to participate in the next week. WE are going to have a blast so please sign up soon. Replying to my own post...I wanted to add that the airfares were ridiculously low (and GSP is one of the most expensive airports to fly into/out of). I'm guessing that vacation travel into the gulf and La is low so they are offering very low airfares to increase the traffic. I only say that in case anyone is on the fence about going due to cost. Check out the prices and come on down (or up, or over).
