We got to the theater early, a great old place that most short sited cities have torn down and replaced with barns. Jonatha Brooke was there last week and next week the Orlando Gay Men's Chorus Pride concert. While Paz and the sound men set up, we sat in the audience. When the piano levels were set, Paz noodled some Joni music which was great (that was the Joni content for you NJC freaks.) The band members couldn't have been nicer. Paz took us to a sleazy straight dive for cocktails. After we left that place, Frank and I headed to The Parliament House for some real bar fun (shut up Stewart) then returned to the theater to go out for some tasty Thai food with Paz. We returned to hear the concert. These guys are the real deal folks. Such joyful music you have never heard. So if the PHJB and Paz come to your town, make it a point to hook up with our best JMDL bud and treat yourself to some fine music. It could be yours for 1.4 million cdn$ but it may face a bidding war as there has been a facebook rally to have Leonard nominated for the next Canadian Governor General! best Stephen in Toronto NP: Carrie Rodriquez- Love and Consequence This e-mail (and/or attachments) is confidential and may be privileged. The home-modified outboard DAC survived. The new living room has much better sound than the old, too small, apartment. The elaborate record player set up, VHS, cassette, and 78s will follow soon. >> Jim, I'm glad to see your priorities are still in order. : D Lori Santa Rosa, CA ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2010 #164 ***************************** ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here: mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:joni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe -------
