Check it out: Thanks for checking it out, Stewart - as for how I find them, MySpace has a good search engine, you can select "Music" as your category, and then "song", and then type in the song title. As is usually the case, Joni's titles with more unique words will make your life a lot easier. People's Parties is a pretty good one for that, though you'll pull up some rap songs about "Party People" as well. The quality of some of the MySpace stuff is exceptional - I've been weaving them in to my volumes; speaking of which it's February 1 - I gotta get it in gear and get #121 ready. It's definitely a strong presence in the line-up now though! What I've heard of that Averett Bros album sounds promising - I guess I should put it in my Amazon cart for the next time I have a few bucks. And Suze - I *love* Po' Girl. This month the singer-songwriter collaborates with the Alberta Ballet in Joni Mitchell's the Fiddle and the Drum at UCLA's Royce Hall. The program, which explores how we've messed up the planet, is set to the Grammy winner's music against a backdrop of her artwork (images of war are projected behind the dancers). Feb. 26-27.
