Hi Walt - Joni was diagnosed with Morgellon's Disease, might be misspelling that, at some point last year. It was a discussion topic for awhile but I haven't heard anything else about it. The box set is going to happen, was supposed to be November last year but has been pushed out to . Information has been hard to come by though we do have a mole who is getting the news as it comes out. All that we know about for sure is the inclusion of "Jeremy" which was recorded for STAS plus some 1964 live folk performances, likely her appearances at the Half Beat. Also included will be some of the alternate recordings from the Mingus sessions. If it does come out, it will be one of the highlights of the year. As for new studio stuff, she was originally contracted for another album on the Starbucks Hear Music but they sorta shut it down last year so I don't know if that contract is legit still or not. Then again, the true determination point will be if Joni's muse moves her, and that's a good thing. And I'll add that it's very nice to have you back my friend - you have been missed. Interestingly, the seller admits that he can't prove this is real, and offers a full refund if you can show that it's a fake. I can't imagine anyone bidding 3,500 unless Joni herself says that it's real. Jerry Mine either, but if it is real, knowing how inflated celebrity art (be the person best known as an artist or not) is, no price would really surprise me. In fact, I crave music when I work. Ideally, it will be peppy enough to keep me on track but not so jumpy that I get aggressive. THOSL works; LOTC doesn't. Anything by The Allman Brothers Band is perfect; AC/DC is too fast. Yesterday I streamed the Allmans, which led me to the Duane Allman Anthology, which led me to Sea Level, and so on. I can work to AC/DC no problem.
