On the average day (Not counting Zoob :)) there are about 35-40 tweets about someone listening to Joni music. Don't know how some of you felt growing up but it was like I was the only one listening to Joni. Good to see that at least 35+ people tweet about it daily. I may be wrong, but I think you probably encountered a massive silence in reply to this message. I first thought it could possibly have been a joke, but no, I'm going to stick my neck out and take it seriously. If anybody understands what you were saying with: "discussing the difference between content-locative constructions and container-locative constructions; you know, the astute childs ability to form the rule If a verb can appear in a prepositional dative, then it can appear in a double dative object, and vice versa" then my hat off to them! Well obviously, if you are not joking, then I need to take my hat off to you! I am not saying this to be ironic, in fact I must confess to being a grammar and linguistics nerd myself. And it is just possible that there may be more of us on this list, which is why I am not just sending you a personal email. But if nobody else is intrigued, then feel free to reply to me off-list. Personally, I know what a dative is (from my Latin lessons), and I can just about work out what a prepositional dative and a dative object would be, but it still does not make any sense to me. So please help me out! I started emailing everyone one by one saying thank you but the condolence emails are of such a vast number, I can't even keep up. So my apologies if I did not or do not personally thank you, I thank you now. I did read your message The sincerity of this list is overwhelming and it does help. It really does. Though this is a hard time for many members of my family (especially family in Poland who unfortunately can not be present who hear of yet another death) things are looking up in this situation I can not change. I wish I wasn't planning my Uncle's funeral and he was still here but.... These things can not change. As I was saying, I am feeling slightly better as things are looking up. I am working with the coroner's office/the city of Cleveland who will pay for just the cremation of my Uncle. They have a funeral home they work with and we WILL be having a little service. After learning knowledge of the generosity of some of my Uncle's fellow co-workers, I realize a service is possible. Between the co-workers/boss, a couple of Aunts, my sister (who I owe a HUGE thanks for her generous donation), and myself, we will be able to afford a wake/visitation to say goodbye. Nothing fancy but a fancy. schmancy service wouldn't have suited my Uncle anyway. He really was a meat and potatoes kind of guy. I am hoping to gather all the money by Monday so we can have a 2 hr or so service sometime next week. It is just that time is of the essence so wish me luck in pulling this together fast.
