Moments ago I heard a wonderful interview on NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday; Scott Simon spoke with Doug Ramsey, who wrote the liner notes for a new CD: "The Definitive Vince Guraldi." I don't have that CD myself, but I now want it. And the interview is a delight. It is slated to be broadcast on Christmas. Will be on a final tour of the\country in a few days starting in East Lansing, Mi on Dec 4 and 5 NYC on Dec 8, Easton MD on 11, Philly on the 12th, Chicago (Elgin College) on the 13, Detroit on the 15. Arcata, Ca on Dec 18, San Fran on the 19th, Rancho Cucamonga on the 20th, Santa Barbara on the 22nd and Disney Hall in L.A. on the 23rd. Hope to see some of you along the way!
