Tickets go on sale on Monday. I have seen many of them doing a tribute to Joni a few years back at The Basement in Sydney and they are incredibly good. So any Aussies on line get in and don't miss it. Details are ** * Few artists have shaped the landscape of popular music as much as *Joni Mitchell!* * In an extraordinary concert tribute to this legendary artist, Katie Noonan, Wendy Matthews, Kristin Berardi, Tania Bowra, Louise Perryman, Virna Sanzone and Rachel Gaudry, together with a superb 12-piece band, bring their own outstanding musicality to much loved Mitchell classics such as /Blue/, /Big Yellow Taxi/, /Chelsea Morning/, /Both Sides Now/ and many more. A must-see not only for Joni fans but anyone who appreciates exquisitely crafted music, this concert will exemplify the depth of Joni`s talent and the power of her ongoing relevance as a unique recording and visual artist. Sure enough one of the first images was Joni and Mama Cass. "I love these women, even now". Waiting to see if there are more mentions. Yup there are. Gonna be late for work! I'm not very technical when it comes to computers--can use them just fine but when something is wrong with them, I'm done. Anyway, here is my issue. I am hoping someone can help me on here. I use a laptop (Compaq CQ50) and until recently, everything has been fine with YouTube. I got the laptop back in February and was able to watch videos (concert performances, interviews, you name it!, I love it!) just fine. I would click on the video, let the little red bit load all the way, hit play and watch. Within the last couple of weeks, I can't watch YouTube videos all the way through. Here's the problem. I click on the video, pause it to let it load (if you notice, there is a red strip that fills the whole space), but it never loads all the way. It'll load to a certain point and then stop. I hit play and it plays until the spot it loaded to. Then I'll move the cursor, press pause to let it load, but again it only loads to a certain point and plays to that point. What is the problem? It is a recent development. I had my brother update our Java and check our Adobe Flash Player. Is it the memory? Should I delete things? HELP please! Feel free to email me offlist... Paul and his band did "Get Back" on the marquee above the Ed Sullivan Theatre (where the fabs were first introduced to Americans). This was one of the memorable songs played on the Apple rooftop in the "Let It Be" film. Paul did another song from his recent, more experimental "Electric Arguments" album. Before these two numbers, he did a lengthy interview with Letterman, which was very good, too.
