I had her sexy Rolling Stone cover on my wall for quite awhile. When I saw the Henry Diltz photo exhibit in NYC, I confess that I stared at the Linda photos longer than I did at the Joni ones. Of course, there was the music as well...quite a run starting with Heart Like A Wheel to Simple Dreams, and then reinventing herself with the luscious Nelson Riddle recordings. She had a good knack of choosing songs to put her own stamp on, even proven hits like "Heatwave".
