That IS bizarre. He must've made that decision during an "Oxy moment." Catherine wrote (about Vince's new state): "Enjoy your new place. Maybe it has changed since Lori was there - otherwise, maybe you'll be the one to change it. Maybe that's why you were sent there." Tres bien! I like that! (Bright as a neon light....) Yes, Vince. "Be the change you wish to see in the world" of Ohio! (TIC! We're only particles of change, I know, I know...) I hope you will be happy there. Now, I have to confess that when I first saw the subject line (Ohio) in this morning's digest, I immediately thought it was about CSNY's "Ohio". That song has been playing over and over again in my head ever since I saw the terrible horrible video of Neda dying in Iran. ("What if you knew her and found her dead on the ground? How can you run when you know?") Now, just so our Jimmy doesn't have another "sad day" on the JMDL w/ so much NJC, and if you can follow the idiomatic logic that goes on in my brain, I have a little Joni mention to share. Last night I posted a moving youtube on FB about the ongoing struggle for freedom and democracy in Iran, and accompanied it w/ some Joni lyrics. (LOL...sometimes I do, yes sometimes I do). For the benefit of Mr. Kite and those not on FB, they were from JOTMAS. Mack even popped in and we had a nice volley going (he could complete me, I'd complete him). ANYWAY, this morning my Iranian friend wrote: "Beautiful! Who's the poet?" My reply: "It's Joni Mitchell, Yass. SIQUOMB (She Is Queen Undisputedly of Mind Beauty). I *knew* you had good taste! ; ) Here is the song. The part I quoted above starts at 3:41. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMD7mcEpU6U ... Read More If you want to know more about her, just stop by!" And she replied: "My parents still have her LPs back home..." Her parents live in Iran. It's nice to imagine that they might be listening to Joni just at this moment of the world, maybe getting some comfort and consultation.
