I have been enjoying the read and I am almost finished. I have been dragging it out as I hate to finish a book. What makes it so much more fun is that she is in town for the past couple of weeks soaking up the New Orleans thing while she writes for an upcoming project. I don't think I have ever met an author while I was reading their work. Pretty cool! She has been alot of fun to hang out with and talk about all things Joni as well as many other topics. Tomorrow night I am hosting a mini fest at my house for beautiful Michelle Mercer and the lovely Les Irvin. Should be a hoot. Fair warning to jump into your private jets or the Jag and haul ass to New Orleans by tomorrow night to be a part of it. I just love their sound. Congrats on completing the dissertation, I toast to you, remembering the correct Irish way to toast that you've taught me. I, however, want Mr. Cheney "shut up"---in all senses of the word---by Judge Garzon and the Spanish courts, because clearly, neither the American govt. nor the American people have the requisite *equipment, *nor the stomach, to get the job done.
