Was disappointed to see Nilsson down so low, and represented by The Point as opposed to Nilsson Schmillson. JT should have also been higher than he was, same for Mr. Waits. And while Rain Dogs is a brilliant classic, it's not as much of a 'singer-songwriter' album as "Closing Time", "Small Change" or "Looking For The Heart of Saturday Night". Seeing something that traditional in a late 60s wedding is a bit unusual, I think; seeing Joni in any traditional roll is downright disturbing. While I'm on the subject of Joni and marriage: it was very interesting to read Graham's take on the possibility of his marriage with Joni, as I had only heard her side in the past. I agree that art has license to change the events related, but when the people involved are clearly identified it can be a bit problematic, to say the least. As for Graham, I'm willing to take him at his word regarding his expectations, but I also have to believe that Joni's "red lights" were not without some justification.
