One thing about being over 50, aside from being free to be crabby, is that, for the most part, you no longer give a shite what people think about you. It's also possible the other person could have sent a stupider reply right before you. Which reminds me. I have a g-mail account, but I keep forgetting it exists. __________________________________________________________________ Yahoo! Is it poisonous? Is it BIG? Does it have hideous fangs? I don't think I mind snakes as long as they can't kill you. Better a snake than a big juicy spider. I know they also get rid of bugs, but the big fat juicy ones scare the livin' daylights out of me. On the other hand, we don't get a lot of snakes around here, so it's easy for me to say I don't mind them. __________________________________________________________________ Looking for the perfect gift? My enthusiasm for Joni was so contagious when talking to the girl who interviewed me. I talked about how Chaka is a fan of hers, how Herbie Hancock is a fan of hers and how he won a Grammy for his tribute album to her. It was really cool because she was a music buff herself and totally got into my conversation about Joni. Before we knew it, a whole hour had gone by. She was good people and I was very humbled and honored. SherelleRandy wrote:> > Real cool, Sherelle! In super hot weather they will hang in a cool spot until late in the day, then come out and sit on a warm spot-the road, a rock, etc, at least that's what they do in the PacNW...not to freak you out or anything, but don't they have those black moccasins down there? If you can identify it as harmless, you can rest easier. We have rattlers here-they still freak me out after all these years, though I picked up a 3 ft gopher snake the other day-they look pretty similar at first glance.
