But then Joni's compositions defy all catagories which is why i increasingly love her on SO many levels One thing i like most about Ladies Man is the way it leads into Moon At The Window ~ among Joni's finest jazz accomplishment!!! An important thing i've learned from our J is that each album is approached like a painting. & in my not-so-humble opinion she has never delivered less than a masterpiece. Hey, it's when you finally contribute your own voice when a song truly starts to sound great (in one's own ears anyway) Just my 2 diminishing cents.....
