Pepper is an overrated album. I love the Beatles, and I never could understand why this album was always so highly rated. It's cheese to the nth degree. I remember buying the album when I was in high school and being so disappointed with it, trying over and over to get into it, but always thinking, what? this is it? ugh! I do have trouble, however, trying to pick out a Joni album that is overrated. I guess I would have to pick either Blue or Court and Spark because those two seem to be the only ones that ever get recognition. I have no problem picking out her most underrated album - Don Juan's Reckless Daughter. I can never get enough of this - so much to discover after every listening.
