Being the trusting sort, I never locked my car (still don't most of the time) and eventually the 8 track player was ripped out and a number of my tapes were taken. But not the Don Juan or HOSL. I'm sure the thief just went "huh!?" and left them thrown on the passenger seat. LOL. They are still somewhere in a box in my parents' garage. It would be cool to unearth them someday. In my older age I have acquired both in vinyl and CD and actually have almost every Joni in all other formats. Ha! Joni DID sing ONE TIN SOLDIER!!! Love Nuri Norma Jean Garza wrote: Well, now I know. It was a rough and rowdy voice and I was just amazed. I thought, how could Joni sound so much like Janis Joplin. That one song, One Tin Soldier, I can understand the mistake, because Joni sang against war. But, Joplin's another story. I thought, 'Well, she does Killer Kyle really well and she looks like a slim man on DJRD's album cover..I guess she can sing just like Janis." What about that slide show? I think Joni's pants were mustard color, now that I think back more.
