I happen to think your Save The Whales cover kick ass. I'm no professional. I just love graphic design. It's hard to know if your own work is good or not. It's hard to be objective. I post some every once in a while, not knowing if it is just sitting on yousendit or if people like it or are using it. It's nice to get some feedback. I'd also like to thank Bob Muller for his appreciation too. He gives so much to this group and that's what inspires me to want to give something too. I believe it was you who originally sent me the Wembley DVD in PAL. My brother managed to make an NTSC copy and I offered it to the group. It's now doing the rounds in the US. Just wait for it to pop up again. The copy Melissa had was the original PAL version which is playable in Australia, New Zealand, UK and Japan. I'm not sure she is correct in saying that it is region 4 though since it came from the UK which is region 2. Quite often the UK produces region 2/4 DVDs for sale in Aust/NZ too. The NTSC copy should pop up again soon. I don't think he says it is something we should strive for; and I don' think he says this is going to be a wonderful world. To hate him for laying his results out to the public is unfair I think. When you say that "Society is going in this direction in the USA now!!!" it seems to me that you agree with him. So I should be really angry with you for saying so, at least if I were to react to what you say in the same way as you react to what he says...? It's true, his research could be flawed and biased in all sorts of ways, but then it could also be based on sound science. Even so, in 10.000 years he could be proven wrong. I once read that blonde women attract men's attention more than brown- haired women, because blonde is associated with sexy. I also read that women with large busts are automatically considered to be less intelligent than those with smaller ones. I read that leaders are prominently tall and have dark blonde hair and are male, obdiously. I am particularly annoyed with the fact about the blonde women who are considered sexy and that so many leaders are male (because Im a brunette!). But I don't write hate-mails to people who have figured out that this is so. It's not their fault, it's human nature. I feel a bit sorry for the guy, because he may not have any political agenda, in fact he may not even like his own findings, but he has probably received tons of hate-mail....! Well that's just my thoughts.... Is that completely off the mark? Cool that you met Joan A! I owned "Me Myself and I" when I was about sixteen and liked it a lot. Then suddenly I got stuck and found her a bit bombastic and one-dimensional, but maybe it was jsut me who ahd been listening one-dimensionally I don't know. When I was in ninth grade, in a new school, everyone had to bring a song, either one they really liked, or one they thought was typical of superficial, commercial pop. I played a song from her album, I think it was called "late at night". The whole class room got embarrassingly silent, and it felt like the song lasted an hour. After it ended, the clever boy whose mother had decided that he wanted to become a doctor said "Yes, this is clearly a prototypical example of commercial pop music of the most superficial type..." I hope he didn't opt for psychiatry. OK back to work, take care!
