Pretty laid back or non-existent in some areas. I do think sometimes the sunshine and mind-numbing traffic here affects us apathetically. The only thing I have ever received was a letter from James Carville on behalf of the DNC. I think it was back in 2004. I'm probably assumed to be a Democrat because of the demographical profile of where I live. My mother often receives those pre-recorded messages mostly from Ahnold. They are funny as hell! You answer the phone and the Terminator is speaking to you in his thick accent about Cawleefornia. Ha! Speaking of which, I understand CT has a somewhat popular Republican governor and tends to vote (R) for governors. Interesting. Kind of like CA where there are more registered Dems but we have had mostly Repub governors historically and Ahnold looks like he will have an easy win this time, too. >laughing at what she and her two sons (ages 6 and 12) did today.
